S152 Maintain Provisional File

 

Purposes:

 

This screen allows the MIMS user to comment or modify status of a Provisional File.

 

Prerequisites:

 

1.       MIMS user must have applicable security authorization.

            The following groups have access to this panel:

                  Provisional Agents

                  System Administrators

                  All Internal MEP Users have View Access when P- File number is known

 

Helpful Hints:

 

Ø      This screen is used for comments or modifications to a Provisional File.

 

Procedure:

 

1.       Select Provisional Tab.  

2.       Enter Provisional File Number and click <Get>.

3.       All Fields presented are updateable.

4.       Comments or Modifications to the Provisional File are recorded on this screen.

To Close A Provisional File

5.       Select from the drop-down list ‘Archived’ or ‘Obsolete’ and select corresponding ‘Closure Reason’

6.       Enter Archived box Number (Manual Procedure by P-Desk clerk)

7.       Add any additional comments.

8.       Click <Save>.

9.       Screen will display with non-editable fields.

Provisional File Number

Uniquely numbered files created to track and manage transmission of Provisional Orders.

To view another file, enter a Provisional File Number and click the GET button. 

Provisional File Number

Uniquely numbered files created to track and manage transmission of Provisional Orders.

File Status

Select from drop-down list -  Active, Archived, Obsolete

Claimant

Is the party making the application (may be either the Creditor or the Debtor if there is a MEP File)

Respondent

Is the party to be served with the application (may be either the Creditor or the Debtor if there is a MEP File)

Related MEP File

Displays the MEP File Number, if applicable.

Direction

Displays either IN or OUT, depending on where the provisional application was made.

Legislation

Displays the legislation under which the provisional application was made.

ISO Jurisdiction

Displays outside AB if Direction is IN, or AB Court if Direction is OUT.

From Jurisdiction

Displays Party Number of ISO Jurisdiction, Court or Attorney General if Direction is IN; Party Number of AB Court if Direction is OUT.

File Number

Displays the File Number, as above (From Jurisdiction)

Attorney General

Displays Party Number of ISO Jurisdiction or Attorney General if Direction is OUT, or AB Court Party Number if Direction is IN.  

File Number

Displays the File Number, as above (Attorney General)

To Jurisdiction

Displays the Party Number of ISO Jurisdiction or Attorney General, or AB Court if Direction is IN.

File Number

Displays the File Number, as above (To Jurisdiction)

Click to same any information that has been entered in the fields.
